Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. Here's exactly what StudyToolset does — and doesn't do — with your data.
The Short Version
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Period.
All StudyToolset tools run entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server. No accounts are required. No cookies are used for tracking.
What Data Is Stored?
Some tools use your browser's localStorage to save your preferences and results locally on your device:
- Exam Countdown Timer — saves your exam list so it persists across page refreshes.
- Reading Speed Test — saves your reading speed history locally to track progress.
This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or site data for this website.
Analytics
In the current version (v1.0), no analytics are installed. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking service. If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-friendly service (such as Plausible or Fathom) that does not collect personal data.
Third-Party Services
StudyToolset loads the following external resources:
- Google Fonts — for typography (Inter and Outfit typefaces). Google's font service may log standard access data. See Google Fonts Privacy.
- jsPDF library (CDN) — used by the Study Planner for client-side PDF generation. No data is sent to the CDN beyond a standard file request.
Cookies
StudyToolset does not set any cookies.
Children's Privacy
StudyToolset is designed for students of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal data, there are no special considerations for users under 13 or 16.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
