About StudyToolset
StudyToolset is a free platform designed to help students plan, track, and improve their study performance using simple online tools.
Who We Are
StudyToolset was created by a team of students and developers who understand the daily struggles of academic life. We experienced firsthand how difficult it is to manage study time, track attendance, prepare for exams, and maintain consistent study habits — especially without the right tools.
Instead of building another complex productivity app, we built something simple: a collection of free, purpose-built tools that solve one specific study problem each. No accounts, no paywalls, no complicated interfaces — just tools that work instantly in your browser.
Whether you're a high school student preparing for board exams, a college student managing multiple courses, or a competitive exam candidate planning your revision — StudyToolset is built for you.
Why StudyToolset Exists
Students around the world face common problems every day:
- 🔴 "How many hours should I study daily?" — Most students guess instead of calculating.
- 🔴 "Will my attendance be enough?" — Students panic-search this before exams.
- 🔴 "How do I convert my CGPA?" — Different universities use different formulas.
- 🔴 "I always end up cramming the night before." — No structured revision plan.
- 🔴 "I can't focus for more than 20 minutes." — No break strategy.
StudyToolset solves each of these problems with a dedicated tool. Every tool is designed to give you an instant, actionable answer — not generic advice, but personalised calculations based on your actual data.
Our Mission
"We want every student to have access to free, private, no-nonsense study tools — so they can spend less time planning and more time actually learning."
We think the tools you use to plan and track your studies shouldn't come with price tags, mandatory sign-ups, or companies harvesting your data to show you ads. If you're a student — doesn't matter where you are, what device you're on, or what you can afford — you deserve the same quality tools as everyone else. That's why everything here is free, private, and runs right in your browser. No catches, no "upgrade to pro" pop-ups.
We're not a startup chasing investors. We don't sell your data (we don't even collect it). The site runs on minimal, non-intrusive ads that don't get in your way. If the tools are useful and students keep coming back — that's our measure of success.
What We Believe
Free Forever
Education tools should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial situation. We will never charge for our core tools.
Privacy First
We don't collect personal data, don't require signups, and don't use invasive analytics. Your data stays on your device.
Simplicity
Every tool solves one problem with a simple input-output experience. No bloated features, no learning curve.
Universal Access
Our tools work on any device, any browser, anywhere in the world. No installation required — just open and use.
The StudyToolset Editorial Team
StudyToolset's tools and guides are built and maintained by the StudyToolset Editorial Team — a small group of engineers and writers, several of whom studied engineering and science at Indian and UK universities and remember scrambling to work out CGPA formulas and attendance thresholds the hard way. That background is why the site leans so heavily on the calculations students in those systems actually need. Every article carries a "By the StudyToolset Editorial Team" byline and a visible "Last updated" date.
Our Editorial Standards
Academic calculators are only useful if they're correct, so we hold our tools and guides to a few firm rules:
- Formulas are sourced and versioned. Where a formula varies by university or scheme — like CGPA-to-percentage — we name the university and the scheme it applies to (for example, "VTU: (CGPA − 0.75) × 10") and tell you to confirm against your own regulations.
- We test the maths. Each calculator is checked against worked examples before it goes live, and those examples are shown on the page so you can verify the result yourself.
- We keep content current. Pages carry a visible "Last updated" date, and we revise them when rules or formulas change.
- We flag uncertainty honestly. When a rule differs between institutions or a formula isn't universal, we say so rather than pretend there's one right answer.
- Recommendations are independent. Some pages contain affiliate links, always clearly disclosed; they never change which tools or products we recommend.
Spotted a formula you think is wrong, or a rule that's changed at your university? Tell us at support@studytoolset.com — corrections from students are the fastest way we improve.
